Hmm not sure what you mean here?Just to be clear I think there are plenty of perfectly nice, harmless trans identified people and I hate the possibility of discrimination and or a backlash against them, against gender non conforming people and by association lesbians, gays and bisexual. I think the feelings of a tsunami is about the sudden imposition of an ideology (often from "allies" rather than trans ided people themselves some of them equally horrified) by a small vocal minority who by their ludicrous biology-denying, anti-women stance are pushing something which is nothing whatsoever to do with human rights. I do think predatory men (trans identified and not) are exploiting the changes in legislation.
What is such a bitter pill to swallow, too, is how compliant so many women are in this misogyny. And I don’t just mean those who stay quiet out of fear, but those who actively promote it and damn women to it. It’s an eye-opening lesson on how easy it is to dupe so many with the ‘right’ words. Which brings us to how impactful language is in our lives.
