Thanks for the Afghanistan info. It is devastating how Afghani women are being treated. It took me some years to get over the Iran/Iraq war deployment of feminism as a Western political reason for support of war in a context of 2000s' rejection of Islam/Muslims as terrorism and understand what is going on. Hopefully there is awareness of the huge variety of Muslim cultures now and we can reject the Taliban and the Iranian Ayatollahs and still support Islamic people.
Meanwhile, back to the future and the post-WWII Rugby Federation support for the apartheid era Springboks.
